Build a Water Well in Uganda
A water well is one of the most lasting forms of sadaqah jariyah. Once it is dug, it keeps giving - every day, to everyone who drinks from it, long after the person who paid for it has gone.
In the villages where Aid For Mankind works in Uganda, families walk for hours to collect water that is often unsafe. A well in the village changes that completely. Children go back to school instead of carrying jerrycans. Illness from dirty water falls away.
Every well is dug by our teams on the ground, and your well can carry a name - your own, or that of someone you have lost.
